Hair styles
& what works best for me!
There are hundreds of tutorials on YouTube of these styles that are available to check out.
!!!As of right now I'm in the semi awkward stage between TWA & whatever comes next!!!
WASH & GO'S (My Fav as of right now)
are the easiest thing for me to do. I normally just co-wash my hair then let it dry for a little while & then style. I do most of my updo's on wash and goes because that's when my hair is its curliest & easiest for me to manage. A lot of people don't care for them because they don't last for more than a day. But if I'm in a rush on any given day I just use my spray bottle of water just to moisten my hair a little bit then Shea butter my edges and I use a hairband and make a curly puff at the top of my head....(it looks cuter than it sounds...lol)
I love the fact that if done small enough you can get a week out of the final result. But my hair is shorter than I want...so Since I became fully natural I haven't done one yet. Just a personal preference. But they do look very nice if done correctly. Just section into small parts, use whatever products you like best, and twist or braid. (You can always use rollers or Bantu knots at the ends to get rid of the straight effect)
Coil outs
I've actually only tried this technique once. But it was on wetter hair than it should have been. So needless to say it didn't turn out well. But If done right, I believe it would have worked out well. So for more specific details YouTube might be a better source until I master the technique....lol
