Alright, now let’s get to it!
The Moda VoxBox was created with the modern day fashionista in mind!
The first product I saw when I opened the box, in my car, because I couldn’t wait to get into the house was the Hair Food Apricot and Honey Hair Mask! This sans paraben and mineral oil product brought the largest smile to my face! I have already used it to wash my hair and will insert a collage below. First things first, it smells absolutely amazing! I normally don’t care how a product smells because I am more concerned about the results that it provides but, this Hair Mask smells heavenly. It is a pretty thick product that does a great job of providing slip and aids in the detangling process for all of my natural hair ladies out there. I used it as my deep conditioner after washing my hair with my Number 1 Trader Joes tea tree tingle products. I let it sit for about 30 min and when I rinsed it out, my hair felt amazing!!! Love love love this product, and will definitely be purchasing it for myself. Only downfall is that I have a TON of hair, and the 6.3 ounce tube will probably only last me 2-3 applications and could get expensive being that I wash my hair once a week.
The next product I reached for was the Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer. With cold weather sliding its way into our lives, finding the right moisturizer is very important. As a woman with darker skin, the cold air loves to attack my hands, but I used this before heading out for a Breast Cancer Walk this past weekend in 30 degree weather and my hands were actually still pretty moisturized as I crossed the finish line. I’ve also used it on my entire body as well, and I love that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy after each application.
Two products I have already tried and love as well are the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner and the Moisture Renew Lipstick. I was slightly confused when I opened the lip liner and saw that it was clear, but then realized that this was perfect for all of the Matte Lipsticks in my collection that tend to be really drying on the lips. I also tried on the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Stick, it applied wonderfully and definitely wasn’t drying at all. I just have to figure out a look to pair it with. It is red, and red is a tricky color for us dark skinned ladies so I will see if I can find a way to rock it and show you all!
Another product that was a part of this box was the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara! I am a mascara fanatic and I have like 15 laying around in my making organizer. But this one really intrigued me because of its applicator which I will have a picture of below! It allows for great coverage and a bold look! I’ve used it a couple times since receiving the box, and plan on putting it into my mascara rotation. I am a huge Rimmel London fan, and these definitely will make me continue to purchase them on my own.
The last three items in the box, I haven’t tested yet and those are the Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa, Resource Natural Spring Water, and the Puffs Soft Pack. I am very excited about the Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa as it focuses on providing its customers with products free of artificial flavors and has 5 simple ingredients! I am a stickler for natural products and an avid lover of hot chocolate so I know that I will enjoy that! If you still don’t know about Influenster, stop by and give it a try!
