So as I stated the other day, its been about a year since I began the natural process about 6 months that I've been wearing my fro...and I've finally found some products that I believe I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!!! I am mainly a wash and go type person. But more recently I've been doing twists outs....so this blog will have a little bit of everything!!! Get ready!!!
Products:
First up on the list....Ms Jessie's Curly pudding & curly Meringue!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!
For my wash and go's I use the Curly Pudding & I have not been dissatisfied yet!!!
The scent can be a bit overwhelming if too much is used. But the definition you get by using this product can not be matched by any other product I've ever used. I also like the consistency of this product its not to thick and doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or sticky. It does however take a long time to dry so after an application I just use a blow dryer for about 5 min.
1. After a good wash I just take about a dime size amount & comb through small sections of my hair with my fingers.
2. Its a little tough to see in this picture but my curls become SOOOO defined just with a little bit of this productFor my twist outs I use the just use the Meringue
This product also has a great consistency and can have a strong odor if too much is used. I really works well with twist outs and I also use it for my detangling process.
1. After a good wash, I just used about a dime size amount on each section
2...The twists, I also bantu knot them for about a hour or 2 just to curl the ends.
Final product!
SHAMPOO!!!!
Garnier Fructis has had my heart since my perm days....they have a great Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo that i love love love! Leaves my scalp feeling great without the squeaky clean effect. And its only about 5 dollars at Target.
Most of the other products I mentioned in my other review are also still of relevance as well.
I haven't straightened it again since the last go round.
And i don't really know when i will straighten it again.
Just using an FHI flat iron & a straightening comb
But thats about it. I've been doing a lot with my hair & trying to take care of it.
Making sure it remains healthy and full.
