How to Create a Timeless Wardrobe

In any women's closet there should be number of staple pieces. These pieces should be "timeless".

By timeless I am referencing that no matter the current trend they can be transformed into different looks. Below is going to be a list of some pieces that I believe should be in every woman's closet. Now as the current trend is vintage, these can definitely be used in these looks and can also be converted in to some higher end looks as well.

1. The Floral Dress

This is definitely a vintage staple piece, worn with some sandals and a cardigan you already have a completed outfit. To dress this look up: add a blazer, some heels or wedges, and some accessories to play it up. Could go from casual day, to a night out with the girls.

2. Denim Pieces!!!

Denim has been around for years and will continue in the same way. Denim is most definitely timeless. It can be dressed up & dressed down. Another staple piece not pictured to fit in this collection would be the denim shirt. Worn with a pair of colored skinny and wedges with a scarf, once could create a dressy casual look or even throw it on with a bodycon dress creating a edgy look.

3. The simple white blouse

This one is a little more fancy but its use is versatile. With black slacks or a pencil skirt for a business look, with some herum pants for a hippie look, with a long floral skirt and a braided belt for a vintage look...etc. The list goes on and on.



4. Chiffon!!!

I am completely in love with chiffon. Whether it be a top or a bottom. Its so light and has many different uses. Most normally people choose to make chiffon a dressy fabric. But this skirt with another staple, the denim shirt, with some flat ankle boots or combat boots creates a very wearable day to day look.

5. Accessories

 I am personally a fan of the braided belts not only because the vintage look created but also because they become much more versatile. From worn in belt loops in one's pants to around one's skirt to create a higher waist line, with no headache because it can be hooked anywhere. (NO hole poking necessary lol)

The black shoe!

Shoes in themselves are the perfect accessory. But a woman should always have a pair of simple black shoes that can be worn with a suit and also worn with a pair of jeans. This suede black wedge is perfect. Its not too high as to make my business look too "cluby" and also cute enough to add that little bit of umph to a casual look

JEWELRY!

I am a jewelry fanatic and these pieces pictured are my more vintage inspired pieces. But a necklace and a pair of earring can take an outfit from 0-100
