• Havana Twists 2.0 (Marley Twists)

Hello my Naptural beauties!!!

I am back with an updated post on my Havana Twists or Marley Twists as some people call them!

My last post did SO well I wanted to come through and show you guys my twists this time around. I went a lot longer, a smidgen thicker, and added a little color after my first wash.

The method on how I achieved this look is still the same as with my other post which was up about 6-7 months ago.

For those who didn't get to see my tutorial video before it messed up below is a link of the method of installation that I use: (Video came from Addicted2GlamXO's channel on Youtube)

**ATTENTION**
I DID NOT use the products used in the video NOR did I use her detangling method but the hair folding and using my hair as the third piece in the initial braid was used before twisting

I used my Jamaican Castor Oil and locking gel as I do with most hairstyles.

The method I use when washing is the stocking cap method. I simply cut the top from a pair of old pantyhose and tie. This cap reduces the amount of frizz during the wash process as it helps to absorb some of the excess water. After my first wash (which was today after 2 weeks) I decided to add a little color to the mix to spice it up for the spring!

Haven't done much as far as styling is concerned, due to the length it is a little harder to switch things up but the bun as been a staple look since the initial installation.

I definitely enjoy this look, it's very low maintenance and pretty versatile.
Look up some different Havana twist tutorials and give it a try!

Enjoy!
